So, I used this concept in my design by making the two big houses functioning as the lungs, protecting the heart which is the studio apartment. The way I constructed it was that the studio is floating in the middle and is placed in such a way that it would fit the two bedroom house perfectly, representing the unity of the heart and lungs. The three buildings are connected through different passages and patios representing the complexity of the veins and arteries going through the heart and out of it to the rest of the body. The reason why I chose to make the studio as the heart is because, the person living in it is the youngest generation, thus making him/her inexperienced in the world so is protected by the previous two generations. I added a few areas that have walls made of glass representing purity of the heart.
